So, thinking ahead to the release of the next book, \u2018The Fire Mages\u2019, I thought I\u2019d better get on and book it early, so I wasn\u2019t held up waiting for it. Inevitably, a slot came up much sooner than I expected, so, lo and behold, I have another cover to reveal. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"-qt-block-indent: 0; text-indent: 36px; margin: 0px 0px 5px 0px;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri'; font-size: 14pt;\">\u2018The Fire Mages\u2019 is set in a different part of the same world, and is more town-based, so I wanted a more built-up feel to the cover. However, the designer, Glendon Haddix, has kept the turbulent sky, fonts and layout to give a very \u2018series\u2019 feel to the two covers, even though they\u2019re both stand-alone books. And he\u2019s taken the \u2018fire mage\u2019 aspect to produce a very striking image which captures both the fantasy and romance elements.
